Okay, a wierd question I guess, but here is my explaination. My husband bought me a tee-shirt. (A pearl jam shirt) and because Rock-band tee shirts so often come in men’s sizes, he bought me a medium.
Here are the problems as I see them.

Because it is a men’s medium, the chest circumference fits me well, but it is much too long on me. It completely covers my butt and thighs. (and I am not “hip” enough to wear it as a dress) In fact, it gets a bit tight around my hips so it really bugs me.

It is a “Ringer” tee. Meaning, that while the teeshirt is black, it has a white collar and white bands around the sleeves. I don’t like this feature either. It makes the neck and sleeves feel tight, and I think looks especially silly on me since the sleeve length (short sleeved) aren’t very well proportioned for a woman.
Okay, so I was thinking maybe I could just cut or tear it up and make it wearable? make a v-neck out of it? make it sleeveless? I am not a good seamstress however, so whatever I do will have to end up looking “Funky” not “perfectly tailored”.
Does anyone have any experience with this or know any websites to turn to for instructions?
This is probably way too random to get any responses but if you CAN help, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
