First I had trouble getting it at my house. So I routed it to my work. Different zip, location. Still it’s awful.
Now I find my coworkers are doing the same thing as they live in Chicago and don’t get their mail.
Now it seems we aren’t getting it at work. This is a 60611 zip. Streeterville.
Or does the PO just hate me?
I dunno. Get a P.O. Box perhaps? That way, you’re keeping your mail out of the hands of the letter carrier.
Seems like a few times a year in Chicago we get the “10,000lbs of undelivered mail found in a shallow grave” type news story.
That said, living in the suburbs, my bills come with unfortunate regularity.

There was a mail burning incident just last week.
I had that same problem. Bills got through OK, but magazines somehow never made it to my door. (I’m in 60640 – Uptown – considered by some to be the worst on the North Side, if not the entire city.) I switched my subscriptions to work (60605), and haven’t missed an issue. But I have a friend in 60611 who’s had terrible home service for years.
I’m not sure how much a P.O. Box would help – I mean, it’s still the Post Office, right? – but you might give it a shot.
