I want to say Sacred Visions but my searched havn’t turned up anything.
I remember seeing a photo of the author sitting on a NY subway with half of his head shaved and the other half past his shoulders.
It is esentially a book of different paintings and an exploration of the human condition, all by the same artist. There are about 20 different images in the book, most are of human beings, some in the flesh, naked, and somewhat photorealistic whereas others are more like medical cutaways. Some are slightly erotic and all are extremely vivid color.
