I’ve always liked his posts, and realized I hadn’t seen him around here for a while. His profile says that he last posted in January, and visited the board in May.
Just hope he’s OK. If someone knows and isn’t at liberty to say, that’s OK too.

He emailed me a while back to say he was taking a break from the SDMB. He’s in good health etc as far as I know. He’s done this before and then returned so you may see him back.
If you have the chance, please send him greetings.

Personally, I’ve always assumed that these “breaks” he takes are just his cover story for when he’s off flying air support in aid of some third world liberation movements somewhere.
Ditto on sending my regards as well. I PM’ed him a few times already wondering about his absence when he first went off the grid, but of course got no response. Glad to hear he’s OK.
