Will ESPN ever let this story die? I don’t know a single NFL fan who really cares about what team videotaped another.
Maybe it was funny to tease Pats fans last year during the undefeated season.
Now I’m so sick of this so-called story.
I hope not. I wish they’d spend 20 minutes every Sportscenter talking about it. I hope it follows them until the Patriots and everyone on that team is long since dead. I hope it gets them booed every time they play away from home. I hope it puts an asterisk next to each of their super bowl wins. I hope it keeps Bellichick and Brady out of the hall of fame, and if it doesn’t, it takes up more of their display than their on field accomplishments. I hope a brief synapsis of this scandal is carved onto their grave stones for all of posterity.
Why yes, I’m a perfectly rational and reasonable anti-fan of the Patriots; nothing in sports makes me happier, than to see bad things happen to the Patriots. If my beloved team loses, but the Patriots win, it’s still a good day.
