Does cedar provide any benefits for paper storage?

Just wondering - beneficial, neutral, detrimental?

I am aware I can purchase archive-quality storage boxes. I’m just trying to see if I can deploy something I already own.

I’d think detrimental. It might keep rodents away from chewing the paper, but the chief problem with storing paper (at least wood pulp paper which is almost all of it nowadays) is acid. That’s why you hear about acid-free paper or acid-free storage. I assume cedar like most evergreens is on the acidic side for wood.
