Does McCalin have a clear two-states position on the Israel-Palestine question?

This is really more of a GQ, but we know that any thread with the word “Palin” in it will end up in GD or the Pit, so here goes…

While watching the VP candidates’ debate, I was intrigued to hear Palin unequivocally state that she and McCain support a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine problem. I was not aware he had such a directly stated, forceful position on the issue.

A cursory Google search yielded this website and a few others which would seem to support my understanding, but I admit I need my ignorance fought.

So, did Palin go a step beyond McCain’s expressed views, or did she accurately characterize them?
