**ChefGuy **- Are you getting donation requests from Obama 2012 or from some other affiliated groups?I just looked through my email archive and I haven’t had a request for money for quite awhile. I’ve received requests to call my congressman (from Stephanie Cutter) and information about the President’s Fiscal Cliff plan from Obama for America - but none of these emails included monetary requests.
Yes, I’m wondering if maybe the OP is being bugged by the Democrats’ Senate committee or some related groups.
No, looking back I’ve received three or four since E-Day from the campaign. I was a donor so maybe that makes a difference.
About all I’ve got left for entertainment, these days. Local shelters have got suspicious, won’t let me have any more puppies.

Most of them are oblique: buy Obama souvenirs: hats, tees, etc. I’ve stopped looking to see who they come from and just unsubscribe to whomever is sending them. I donated to the campaign, that’s all anybody is going to get.
Heck, I’m still getting e-mail from Paul Wellstone. Wish he’d just stick to table-rapping. I budget a certain modest amount and this year sent it all to Lizzy Warren. And not just because she’s so hot!
To be fair, when asked what major difference would be different from his first term to his second term, Obama said he intended to enlist the help of the American people.

I’m bet’n he’ll take the Bully Pulpit some time this week to address the nation on prime time.
On what topic? He’s been pushing for a deal on the “fiscal cliff” negotiations. He can’t give a major address on that this week without looking really insensitive for ignoring the shooting in Connecticut. (And he can’t do one speech about both, either.)
