Does RideMax for Disneyland work?

I’m planning to go to Disneyland (Los Angeles) this week. While looking for discounted tickets for Disney, I came across a software called RideMax which claims to lower wait times while standing in line for rides.

Has anyone had experience with RideMax? Does it work?

Thanks.

p.s. and does anyone know where I could get discounted tickets to Disneyland (single day, no park hopper)?

I don’t think it is worth the effort.
My suggestion is use fast pass. Your link says that some fast pass machines are disconntected from the central computer, I have a hard time believing this, but whatever.
one trick I learned about fast pass is that you can get a second fast pass as soon as your window opens for the prior ride.
So let’s say you have a fast pass for Big Thunder Mountain that runs from 12:00-12:20. At 12:01 you get a fast pass for Indiana Jones and then ride BTM
A couple of additional hints
Get to the park early less people
Go on a weekday if possible for the same reason
Go ride the fancy rides early! They will be less crowded
Then later in the day when eveyone is in line for the rides, go visit Main Street
If you want to see the Golden Horseshoe Review, get your reservation early they sell out!
If (and I do mean if and only if) a member of your party is handicapped, get a handicapped pass. It allows the handicapped person and members of their party to skip the most of the lines.
Have fun!

Simple answer: you can’t.

Since you are going to Disneyland the week between Christmas and New Year’s, your best hope is to get to the park right as it opens to get on any of the big rides.

California Adventure would be much less crowded, but also less fun.

The Blue Bayou Cafe’s reservations fill up very quickly too.

However, I would expect crowds of monumental size this week.

I’ve never used it. However, as a Disneyland regular, I have to say that the little bits of advice they’re offering in their examples seem spot on. It’s the sort of information that you pick up naturally if you visit the park a lot, but if you’ve never been before it might be worth the $17.

Thanks for your responses. I’ve purchased it, and it seems to be quite useful. Let’s see how it works out.
