Just curious. He’s Exec Producer on all of them but I’m guessing that’s just an honorary title?
He makes a cameo in each movie. Isn’t that active enough for you?
Especially given that he’s 95 years old?
Being named executive producer has more to do with the lawsuit than any input he has. The title means he is getting a slice of the pie.
Creatively, no. Possibly he was a source of information at some stage, but even that is unlikely considering the encyclopaedia of knowledge other nerds are clamouring to share. But if he gets a credit, he’s getting paid, and after 20 or so movies from the MCU alone, I’m sure it’s plenty.
He makes cameo appearances and does promotional work. But he’s not involved in the making of the movies.
He may not be doing it much longer. He’s 95 and in bad health. His wife died last summer. And he’s involved in an ongoing family problem over money.
