Does the iPad browser I want actually exist?

I’m fed up with Firefox on the iPad. They keep monkeying with the interface and making it harder to access Bookmarks and the homepage and I really want to change. But I can’t find another browser with the one feature I really can’t live without:

Reader Mode… PLUS… the ability to save for offline use.

This is the one thing Firefox does well - it’s quick and easy and almost always works. Safari has a Reader mode, but it’s clunky and I can’t get it to save offline articles. I’ve tried Brave, Opera, Dolphin and several other browsers. Those that have a Reader function aren’t able to save for offline reading.

Suggestions? I’d hate to think I’m stuck with Firefox. I’m convinced the developers sit around thinking of ways to needlessly screw up the interface.

One hell of a lot of websites make it real hard to read their content offline. They want to feed it to you in dribs and drabs with fresh ads dynamically inserted. They don’t want your browser (or some AI or search engine that’s not paying them anything) to be able to scrape the whole of their content as a cohernet whole

I suspect browser makers are seeing offline reader mode as a lost war. They’ll get blamed when the feature works badly. Despite the fact it’s the website(s) fighting them tooth and nail to prevent it from working.
