Does the old movie "The Italian Job" show up in the new version?

I was rewatching the remake of “The Italian Job” the other night when I noticed something.

At one point in the movie, the group is checking out Steve’s house, and you see Steve walk past his picture window and turn on his big screen TV. You can’t see the TV that well, but to me, it looks like it might be a shot from something with Michael Caine in it. Since Michael Caine was in the original version of the movie, I’m guessing that the scene is from there. Does anyone know for sure?

Alfie is an old Micheal Caine movie (from 1966). It was remade (poorly) starring Jude Law in 2004.

My guess is that it’s just a sly way of paying homage to Michael Caine and to the original film.
