I’m a regular at my local dog park, and we were talking the other day about how its sometimes a pain to coordinate.

Certain dogs play well with others, certain owners like each other, and it would be nice to know when and if others will be going, and who is already there.

For example - it would be nice to know that my dogs best playmates are planning to be at the park today at 6pm rather than 4 pm when I was thinking of going. Or it would be nice to know who and how many are there before heading out on a spur of the moment trip.

Right now its a matter of mass texts back and forth, but I think there must be an easier way.

I was thinking an app where one could easily use their phone to say “I’ll be there” and what time as well as check in when they get there. It would be for a recurring event, and show contact/user names for others to quickly view.

Is there such a thing? Evite, whozin, punchbowl, foursquare, facebook, meetup, etc. don’t quite do it right and simple…

I would think this could work for dog parks, taking kids to the playground, pick up games at the court, etc. as well.
