Not offended. And i like the ad. It would actually draw my eye to it. Which is much more than most ads would do.
No, I think it’s hilarious.
Not offended, but a little repulsed seeing as I now have a mental connection that says that it would taste like a dick.
It’s embarrassing that whatever ad agency is responsible for this was willing to ditch half their potential client base to possibly turn on some horny, obese teenage boys.
This. Other words that have been previously posted: tacky, juvenile. I’ll add tasteless and sexist. I feel the same way about the Hardee’s ads. Yeah, yeah, we get it – all men are pigs, appeal to their manly sloppy gluttenous eating habits, high-five the way they tomcat around, and oh yeah, throw in a ton of blatant sexual non-innuendo and Hollywood’s version of hot babes.
Female customers? What female customers?
Is that necessarily sexist, though? Like would we be eyerolling at a yogurt ad aimed at women where the emphasis was on losing weight and staying regular and whatnot?
The ad is visually clumsy, and the message is tacky. If I cared to fellate my food, I would grab a carrot.
I dunno… is there a vagina-esque tub of yogurt being shoved in the face of a frightened teenage boy made to look like a Ken doll?
She doesn’t really look all that frightened to me. Just kind of…meh. Not really all that different from most pictures of fashion models/models I’ve seen in ads in general to be honest.
I want to see a similar ad with a guy poised to munch a big wet taco.
I smell a hoax. I went to the Burger King web site and didn’t find this product on the menu.
Its on the menu here. With the tag “It’ll blow your mind” but no visual - my immediate thought was still to a seven inch wang and a blowjob.
As to appealing to only half your audience - how many women do you really think are in the market for a seven inch burger int he first place. I would dare to suggest that its a fraction of the men that would eat the same.
Maybe not many, but it’s hardly going to encourage a woman looking for a fast food option to go to BK for anything.
Where’s our ad of the hunk rubbing salad dressing all over himself?
I almost ate a vegetable once. But I felt like I would be taking advantage of the poor girl.
Burger King offends me. So much salt it chokes you and that burnt taste! Ugh.
It offends me. That girl looks like a spitter, and that’s just wrong. If you don’t want the genie, don’t rub the lamp.
Apparently it’s a limited product offering in Singapore. You won’t see the ads outside of Singapore either.
It doesn’t offend me personally, although it does add to my uncomfortable feeling that Idiocracy becomes a more and more realistic future with every passing day!
I’m not offended but I think it’s stupid. I think eroticism can be OK in ads but this crosses the line from erotic to vulgar. Might as well show a “cum shot” of mayo squirting onto her face from the sandwich.
