Does this male model look healthy?

He strikes me as looking vaguely unhealthy or unwell.

Born Shoes

I’m not an expert, but he looks perfectly healthy to me.

Ditto. He just looks like he might be diseased because he needs to shower and it looks like he’s wearing stripey pajamas.

Seems a bit on the skinny side with sunken cheeks.

Or, perfect health for a model. He could be on the same dietary supplements as Kate Moss.

My younger brother has cheeks like that, and he’s a six-foot-three, 195 pound, perfectly healthy 19-year-old. And my brother is definitely not on any diet – before I left home for the semester, I watched him eat a steak and half a pie.

He looks like he’s mostly fit, apart from his tragic lack of feet.

It’s nice that he can still get work, though.

He looks like he has narrow shoulders in that OP pic, which goes towards him looking a bit out of proportion.

Why, exactly, are they using that picture to try to sell shoes?

He looks stoned out of his little tree to me, YMMV.

Seriously, I think the advertising concept is based on the old aphorism “I complained that I had no shoes, until I met a man who had no feet.”

Look at him, looking wistfully at the shoes that he can’t wear, and then bitterly away.

Enviously at the viewer, because he knows you have the feet to wear such stylish footwear, and then with grim inquisitiveness, as if to ask “How can you, being are blessed with feet, pass up the opportunity to wear the fine footwear which haunts me so?”

Venal, manipulative bastards, exploiting the disabled like that.

Hm yes, I agree. I was going to say his eyes look a bit glassy.

I’d say he’s suffering from a severe case of Heneedsahaircutitis

Oh great, I’m turning into my dad. :smack:

…Then I started complaining that I have no gloves, instead.

Yep, that’s the thought that crossed my mind as soon as I saw him.

That was beautiful.

Back to the OP. He has puffy eyes, but lots of people have that “I have crusty eyes in the morning” look. If he didn’t look so sullen, I’d think he’s hot. But I bet he never laughs.

He looks a bit like an inmate in those pyjamas.

He looks like he was in bed with a mild flu and the photographer coaxed him to lean upright just long enough to take the picture.

But those are some nice looking shoes. I’ve never bought shoes online but I might have to give these a try.

Bravo, Mr. Mudd, Bravo !!! Thank you for making me inhale a drink of coffee and cough it out alllllll over my keyboard!

Best laugh I’ve had in days, DAYS I tell you !

I thought he looked perfectly healthy, until the “bitterly away” link.

Look at the sunken chest. On a healthy male, you shouldn’t see each rib like that.
And he does desperately need either a haircut or a barette.
Poor man–no feet and surrounded by shoes…<cue Alanis Morissette>

What country are they based in? To me, ‘børn’ means ‘children.’ Which seems slightly less than incredibly sophisticated. Buy Children’s Shoes!
