Are those opinions or facts? If they’re facts, how do they stack up against Warren’s claims to be a Native American?
There’s no connection.
(Post de-stupidified).
They’re facts.
Since Pylesos has recognized the possibility that his claims about Warren are wrong, I can only figure the onus is on him to prove her guilt, not on us to prove her innocence.
By the way, check her out in the 2004 Frontline episode titled “The Secret History of the Credit Card.”
Nunh-uh! Because its like a theory, which isn’t proven! I mean, it may be a fact, but if you believe its a fact, then that’s just, like, your opinion, man!
You laugh, but I saw her speak at a law school graduation. Not bad.
But I am old.
Live fast, die young. Couldn’t have been easier, and I fucked that up too!
This is just laughable. A form was filled out? Is that like “mistakes were made”? A form was filled out… but elves? Why can’t you just say “she filled out a form”, since that’s what happened. Why do you need to make it sound like she was a passive observer in the process?
Some would make a mountain out of this mole hill, but no need to make an anthill out of it as a counter attack.
Whether anyone cared about it or not is not really something we can know. All we know is that someone cared about enough to ask her to fill out the form in the first place.
Because, as he said, he doesn’t know if she personally filled out the form or not.
As for whether people cared, that’s just evident by history. No one worried about it until much later. No one cared at the time.
Elizabeth Warren registers pocahontas.com domain, redirects it to her campaign website.
**Does Trump calling Warren Pocahontas, make it OK to call him Adolph Drumpf?
**
In a word, no. Warren was the one claiming to be part Indian, so she made herself fair game.
I love her.
I love that Clinton and Warren are delivering a master class in how to handle Donald Trump - something the Republicans couldn’t figure out in a whole year. They could have blown up his campaign months ago - but instead they rolled him. Are you paying attention, Little Marco?
And he’s still calling her Pocahontas. When name calling is the best you’ve got, you don’t have much.
I would caution the gentle reader from jumping to the common conclusion that a smattering of Cherokee blood inherently produces genetically superior people. This has not been proven. Yet.
If you read up thread she is 1/32 Cherokee. She marked the “white” box on her college and job applications and only mentioned the Native American background when asked later.
Jesus fuck, yeah! I mean, Jackson, Trail of Tears, blah blah blah, but that evacuation was so porous that A) Andy missed a bunch, and B) there seems to be a trail of Cherokee and Choctaw descendants all along it. It’s a wonder anybody made it to Oklahoma.
When I get to Hell, gonna sit down next to wherever they are roasting Andy Jackson and read him statistics about how widely the Cherokee line is fused with the American bloodstream. You know, brighten his day.
I feel my connection to Trump is personal enough that I can refer to him as Mein Drumpf.
If you read upthread you’ll find she has absolutely no NA heritage.
If you read upthread, you’ll find that it’s unclear whether she has NA ancestry or not.
