Does Turkey still think it did the right thing re denying us overland access?

Didn’t they kiss off a huge potential aid package/bribe as well. What’s the current Turkish opinion on this? Do most Turks now feel it was a missed opportunity or a good thing they stayed out of it?

Well, considering that the aid package was nothing more than a bribe, I am certain that many Turks feel they did the right thing. In five years, when the lack of aid starts showing, ask them again.

Also, being that Turkey has a large Kurdish population, they felt that allowing the US invade Iraq from Turkish land would cause more unrest than what they already have.
