Its a known fact that a human player cannot beat Halo on Legendary status. You guys are all full of it
I cant imagine how long it would take to beat that game using the “run and regenerate” method. I spent the better part of January 2002 just trying to beat the normal mode…
One of the hardest areas (or one of the areas I hated the most) is in the first part of the story when you’re trying to get off the Pillar of Autumn to an escape pod. There is a room with a winding set of stairs filled with Covenant troops. You know the one I’m talking about? Every time I would make it to that room, it was a lot of ‘duck-and-shoot-and-duck’ maneuvering. The Flood are a pain due to their sheer numbers, but I enjoy taking down Elites and Grunts the best, they are just more cunning. Hunters are just a pain in the ass.

You do know the “one pistol shot to the back = death” technique, don’t you?
If you don’t, the Hunters have an orange patch on their back. Get in close enough for him to take a swing at you, then dodge. After he misses, he will be facing the other way.
One Pistol shot in this orange spot will put them down.
Yeah but by the time I get to the Hunters I have tossed my pistol. The assualt rifle is the next in line to use but it is not the best for spot on targeting. It will work in a pinch.
I’m just saying out of all the bad guys, Hunters tend to be the worst. Then there’s the flood guys that explode, I hate them too.
Speaking of Hunters… Hunter the Reckoning is fun as hell on Xbox. 4 player simultaneous monster bashing with a White Wolf RPG backdrop (Vampire: the Masquerade).
