Dog Shedding. A solution? or helper?

Since it has started to warm up, or dog, an Alaskan malamute, is begining to start it’s shedding cycle. Now in the back half of the dog, we can pull little tufts of hair out. I know brushing is one solution, and we’ve tried that. It looks like we’ve just had a one inch snow in a portion of our yard. Are there any good secrets to getting all of this out, or do I just need to keep on brushing?

Thanks, EagleEye.

As the owner of 4 dogs, 2 of them who “blow” their coats, I have not found anything that works to hasten the shedding. Just keep brushing and do a lot of vacuuming inside and leave the tufts of hair outside for our feathered friends to use as nesting material.
