They are. I love cats but my greyhounds really blow me away. I foster dogs a couple times a year and my dogs teach the new kid our house rules. They learn quite a lot by observation.
We’re down to just our 12 year old female at the moment, but are fostering a new 4-year old boy with the intent to adopt him. He’s food-motivated, toy-motivated, smart, easy to train, easy to play with, curious, nice to people and cats and other dogs, and extremely affectionate. Every time I get a new greyhound I marvel at how perfect he/she is. Quite different from the previous ones who were also perfect. But still… perfect. It’s not logical, so I assume it’s just love. LOL!
