Dogma line "Who's house? Run's house!" WTF?

Just watched this movie again. This line is right after Matt Damon shoots the adulterer on the bus. Does it mean anything? Or is it just a line from a rap song (which would explain why I don’t recognize it)?

Who’s Ron and why does Loki sing “Who’s house? Ron’s house” after shooting the man on the bus?

It’s not Ron, it’s Run. As in Run DMC. The song he sings is actually a song buy Run DMC called “Run’s House,” and it can be heard in Chasing Amy. It’s a little nod to that.

Run DMC

Welcome to the board, alphajohn, and thanks for the answer. But just so you know, the question was posted twenty-two years ago.

And also answered 22 years ago.

And answered incorrectly (or at least incompletely).

Earlier in the scene, Bartleby is mocking Loki’s “ability to spot a Commandment breaker a mile away” as “the same guy who owes me ten bucks over a bet on which would be the bigger movie, E.T or Krush Groove.”

Run DMC appeared in Krush Groove.
