Dogs predicting earthquakes

What’s up with that?

I always figured earthquakes were usually preceded by a teensy bit of seismic vibration, and that dogs were sensitive enough to detect. After all, they are usually either lying on the ground or standing on it with four bare feet. I bet we humans could feel it too, were it not for our habit of wearing shoes and listening to AC/DC really loud.

“Woof! Yo, human! The ground’s shaking, dang it!”

“Aww yeah, poochy. She shook me all night long!”

“Well you can stand there with that thing on your head, I’m going to get out of this shoddily-built multistorey building. Woof!”
