President Bush seems to have taken a pretty strong stance against foreign terrorists, and I think most of us can agree with that (although maybe not with the best solution). However, I’m still waiting for Bush to take a strong stance on domestic terrorism.
I am, of course, speaking of the people who blow up abortion clinics, shoot at gynecologists, and generally try to scare people out of having abortions. Is it inconsistent to so strongly condemn one form of religious extremism and tolerate, possibly even condone, another?
I don’t think President Bush is in support of people who blow up abortion clinics, etc. However, since foreign terrorism is the “hot topic” of the day, that’s where the attention is focused right now.
