Don Williams, the Gentle Giant of Country Music has Died

Oh man, this one makes me hurt.

This man had a voice that was comfort itself.

Amanda, Good Ol’ Boys Like Me, Tulsa Time, I Believe in You,…just too many favorites to count.

I’m totally bummed.:(:(:(:frowning:

Edited to add Link

Awww…he had a wonderful voice.

Good Ol’ Boys Like Me brings me to tears every time.

I can still hear the soft Southern winds in the live oak trees…

RIP :’( One of my dad’s favourites, and I grew up listening to him. I’ll be listening to him tonight.

That makes two dead country singers today.

Wonderful singer. I still listen to Tulsa Time and I Believe in You.

Don had such a long career. Spanning the 60’,70’s and up until 2016.

He didn’t spend much time in retirement.

Don didn’t have a long list of hits like Glenn Campbell or Merle Haggard. But Don was a wonderful entertainer that never disappointed a crowd.

You’ll be missed Don.

R.I.P.

So sad. Loved him.

“Hank and Tennessee” gets me every time.

He had close to 50 top 10 and almost 20 number 1’s

Every damn time. I love that song

I believe in love,
I believe in music,
I believe in, Mommy and Daddy,
And I believe in you…
