No argument here. But I hope he milks the spotlight as long as possible. We are all the beneficiaries,
Every time. He’s pulled this shit every election cycle since IIRC 1996 or 2000. It makes for good press. Hopefully however the sheople have caught on to the act, and won’t pay attention this time. Lyndon Larouche has more of a chance of winning the White House than Donald Trump.
But if they both got nominated, what a campaign season!
Bit of an aside: every time I see that clip, and hear Obama joking about “the kind of decision that would keep me awake at night”, and remember that even as he said it, Seal Team 6 was heading for Abbotabad to kill bin Laden the next day … I realise that I would never play high-stakes poker with Obama.
Can we have Herman Cain back too? There must have been a couple of Pokemon sequels by now.
We all know he isn’t really running, right? He just wants the attention he would get if he were running. This isn’t about Trump being president. It’s about Trump being Trump and the attention whore that he is. And we’re all contributing to that right here, me include. :smack:
Well no, we’re not laughing with him, we’re laughing at him.
I want him to run. Please, run Trump run. In fact, I want him to win the Republican nomination. I’ll laugh at him the entire way, but I’ll still root for him (up until the general election).
Nope.
Not seeing the comparison to Trump, as Kasich has a long history of both state and federal offices.
woah, really? I didn’t know that.
^ ^ ^ This ^ ^ ^
Seriously, what’s this business about another presidential run? He’s never even made ONE.
Blank Slate
That was a good video you posted about Obama responding to Trump’s birth certificate accusations.
And lest we forget here is what " The Donald " had to say in 2011:
–Donald Trump, three weeks before Obama released his long-form birth certificate
Yes, Trump running again will surely bring more comedy back to the American political spectrum.
I didn’t compare him to Trump. I just think his ideas are loony.
Mother 'a Ghod and all her wacky nephews…
The clowns are out in force. Even if Trump doesn’t run. Ted Honkin’ Cruz thinks there are enough crazy people and fascists to vote him into office…
Hey, just for fun, let’s TRY converting to a multi-party, parliamentary form of government, and see how long it takes us to use the nukes…
:dubious:
woah, really? I didn’t know that.

2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner was April 30, 2011, so Obama’s comments were probably somewhere around 9 pm EDT, April 30.
Osama bin Laden was killed somewhere around 1 am, May 2, 2011, local Pakistan time.
There’s a nine-hour time zone difference, so bin Laden was killed around 4 pm Washington time, May 1, 2011. The President announced it that evening, after the Seals had got out of Abbotabad.
