Donald Trump Declassifies all Documents Related to Russia/Collusion and Hillary Emails

With as much as he talked about Donald Trump’s tweet, I think he’s expecting that Trump is going to declassify everything and that somewhere in that is going to be a bombshell that changes the minds of us and the Senate. The OP is written in a confusing way, because the bulk of it and the cite talk about the documents that were already released and found uninteresting even by the Republicans, but from the responses Sam is thinking more about what all of the ‘newly released! No redactions!’ documents are going to show, and he’s naive (being charitable) enough to take Trump’s statement at face value.

Taking Trump’s statements at face value is like the dictionary definition of naïve. It’s like “naivete disorder” or something, from DSM XII or whatever the next edition is.

In the Mueller Investigation, the Trump Administration kept saying that there were “thousands of interviews” and that they had turned over “millions of documents.” [forgetting for the moment all of the critically important players who were prohibited from giving testimony to Congress]

It’s like a murderer saying that he “let them look at nearly every single room in his house,” when they were never allowed to look into that locked room in the dark corner of the basement.

As always, the ridiculous thing is that the same dramatic few keep buying these patently absurd, illogical, and irrational arguments.

There just seems to be no end to the number of times this administration can go back to that well.

I’m interested in Sam’s take on the follow-up tweet:

So…he already declassified all the information long ago. But I guess he’s declassifying it…again? I’m really just confused.

Why would they need to be worried about him releasing this previously classified information? It should only upset them if it shows a different narrative then one they have been running.
This goes for him as well.

This was the October surprise he’s been counting on. It worked in '16, so why not now? Oh wait, he’s not running against HRC. Has anyone told him or the Creepy Veepy that yet? People laugh at his tweets now, only the wingnuts and the base (maybe the same thing) take him seriously.

Who said anyone was worried? Seriously, where did you get that from?

They are trying to upset the Democrats by creating false accusations. Ones that Trump supporters will take at face value, and make threads like this one.

Are they successful in their attempt to upset Democrats? Probably a little. It’s never pleasant to have people making false accusations about you. But your assertion that they need to be worried, that is not in response to anything that Democrats or anyone in this thread has said.

Do you actually think that there is new classified information to come out?

I did miss the press conference that our OP said was scheduled for this morning. Is that when this was all revealed?

I must have missed it, what was press conference about? Did it meet your expectations @Sam_Stone?

Usually my responses are tied to a poster. This was the case, you can use the little arrow key above my post to see which poster I responded to and what exactly they said.

Again, why would that upset them at all?

That Trump supporters would eat this up is a no brainer, what relevance does it have to the Democrats, at all?

they announced the indictment/arrests of two ISIS fighters.

Had nothing to do with anything in this thread.

But that occurred before @Sam_Stone made his post, maybe he was just confused?

more likely wishful thinking.

Any update yet, @Sam_Stone? Do you still think this is anything other than random poop-flinging by the poop-flinger in chief?

Right, your response is tied to a poster. Everyone can click that link and see what it was that you responded to.

The post you responded to did not say anything about anyone being worried. Which everyone can see.

So, I ask you again, where did you get that from? Why would you ask why they were worried, when no one said that they were?

The original point was that Trump was trying to upset with his lies. Which, once again, your question is not responsive to in the slightest.

I did mention that some people may be a bit upset about being lied about. I didn’t say that they were, I said that I could see how some may be, as I explained in the post that you responded to, which, as you pointed out, anyone can click on, and see for themselves that you are asking a question that I have already answered.

As to what relevance this could have:

This is the sort of thing that Trump supporters do when they believe the lies spouted by Trump. I can see being a bit concerned that, given that Trump has called out pretty much all Democrats as traitors, that some of his supporters may attempt acts of violence against them too.

The entire thing is complete bullshit. The Trump campaign rightly believes that all his fucking idiot followers will believe that there’s fire if Fox News tells them there’s smoke. Now there isn’t even any smoke.

Did Clinton message about Trump being Putin’s puppet? Yes. Of course. Trump publicly called on Putin to hack Clinton. Does that suggest that there is some sort of deep-state conspiracy against Trum? NOT IN THE FUCKING SLIGHTEST. Will people that have been swallowing Trumps shit for years and years still get outraged by it? Well, exhibit A: gestures at this thread

You’d think after 12 years conservatives would be done with the, “A-HA! See Obama and the Dems were crooked!” stuff. Doesn’t being proven wrong time, after time, after time, after time make it harder to believe this stuff?

Then use the quote function like every other poster.

That way you have to show what they said that you’re replying to, so you don’t accidentally reply to things they didn’t say.

“We’re getting additional insight into Russian activities from [REDACTED],” Brennan notes read. “CITE [summarizing] alleged approved by Hillary Clinton a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service,” Brennan’s notes read.

From the FOX article.

You asked for “thoughts”. My initial thought on this, is was there evidence at this point of interference from Russia? If so, it may have been characterized as a “scandal”, but if there is truth to such, it’s fair game.

I’ll speculate. Trump has no idea what’s in the documents, but either he believes due to his hatred of Clinton that there must be something in them for fodder for the Republicans before the election, or he is so desperate from some kind of story to help turn the tide of his increasingly bleak re-election chances, so he’ll do just about anything. Pure speculation by me, but there it is.

ETA: I personally don’t know what evidence will be damning, so I wasn’t addressing that part.
