Responding to a challenge from media icon and leading opinionmaker Bill Mahr, the Donald has released his birth certificate and demanded that Mahr pony up the promised $5 million.

The only problem is: I’m pretty sure the birth certificate is not real. Check it out: there is no way that the document was printed in 1946. It is simply a technological impossibility.

Until the original, long-form birth certificate is produced, the question of whether Trump is the offspring of an orangutan will be unresolved.

That’s definitely fake. It has the date issued in 2012 right on it. My birth certificate was issued when I was born. Go back to Kenya Trump.

Don’t take this as a defense of that bafoon, but if I lost my birth certificate and wanted a new copy, wouldn’t the issue date be the date of issue of the new copy?

In any case, it’s possible that his mother lied to her husband. This hardly constitutes proof.

The certificate seems to indicate that Trump’s parents weren’t married at the time of his birth.

I don’t see any proof here. The certificate says Donald Trump’s father is Fred C. Trump. No information is given as to what species this Fred C. Trump is. So there’s nothing there to disprove Maher’s claim that Trump might be the “spawn of his mother having sex with an orangutan.”

“Fred C. Trump” even sounds like an orangutan name. A circus orangutan at that.

Pfft. First of all, the certificate number is 7624. So, he was the 7,624 person born in NYC since they started issuing birth certificates? Riiiiight. Even more obvious, the certificate has a barcode. Barcodes were not in use until the 1960’s, over a decade after Trump was supposedly “born”. Clear indication of fakery. Also, I can tell by the pixels.

I think you’re right. Notice that the date filed is in 1946. The 2012 date is probably the date that particular copy was printed off.

I believe it’s standard practice to identify the mother by her maiden name on birth certificates.

Many certificates show the VOID if you Xerox them. This certificate is what I would get if I wrote to Cook County asking for a copy of mine and then Xeroxed it.
