Breaking news right now on TMZ. Nothing on the big news sites yet. I guess she’s been fighting cancer.
She worked hard for the money. RIP.

Fuck cancer.
Seconded.
Wow. Either she was very young or I’m much older than I remember
I was never into disco, but her death makes me feel old. RIP, Donna.
Seriously this.
Overall, I didn’t like disco much, but I did like her stuff. RIP.
She was 63.
My mother was such a fan of hers. And “On the Radio” was a big favorite for me when I was a kid.
RIP.
That’s a damn shame.
And, yeah: Fuck cancer.
RIP, Donna.
N/M
RIP Donna - a great lady with a big voice.
She had a great voice. Disco brought her success, but may have limited her career.
When my generation is old and in the nursing home, they are going to fuck with us by playing “Last Dance” on the p.a. system, and watch us all try to frantically write our phone numbers on cocktail napkins.
And there will be a lot of broken hips when everyone gets up and tries to dance. With their walkers.
RIP, Donna. She was one of the great ones.
Oh, that’s sad. She had such a wonderful voice, and was also very easy on the eyes. So many good songs! RIP, Donna!
She was absolutely the Queen of Disco. This is another one that makes me sad.
And yes, I started a thread in the wrong forum; I reported it myself as soon as I realized. We all make mistakes.
Ask not for whom the bell tolls …
Bad Girls was the first album I bought with my own money (I think I was nine or ten). In retrospect, I could have done a bit better, but I certainly could have done a lot worse.
Damn; I loved loving her.
