Don't be cruelly disappointed, wallow in memories of Nimoy goodness here!

Inspired by Otto’s comment in this thread:

So, let’s hear it. Did you like “In Search of…”? Are you annoyed that I put the ? outside the quotes? Do you long to know if Bigfoot is responsible for the Nazca lines?

He didn’t die, did he? :frowning:

I loved In Search Of… even in reruns.

Click on the Spock!
Insearchof… Shatner’s acting coach.

I have an mp3 of Leonard Nimoy singing “The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins”. So :p.

He was also briefly considered for the role of Dumbledore post Richard Harris, but evidently it was really brief.

Nimoy goodness moment: Playing a full of himself Chomsky type professor in Becker was pretty cool. He really really needs a new agent because I think he’s old enough now that he could avoid typecasting.

I loved “In Search Of…”! The one where they went to Uruguay (Paraguay?) in search of Josef Mengele scared the heck out of me.

And I remember the SNL spoof, when he was in a hotel room: “Why is the TV set bolted to the floor? Are they perhaps… AFRAID it might go DO something unSPEAKABLE???”

Ooh! I’m thread-inspirer, and outside the Pit for a change!

My favorite eps of ISO are the ones that have since been disproven yet still occasionally air. Like the Loch Ness Monster ep that relies heavily on the faked "Surgeon’s Photo.

“Hystory’s Mysteries” is a poor substitute for the inspired goofiness that was In Search Of… When, oh when will we have the DVD release?

Leonard Nimoy played in both incarnations of “The Outer Limits’” productions of “I, Robot,” thirty years apart, although they were different roles. I actually liked the remake a little more.

Check out a very young Leonard Nimoy on “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” sometime. I believe he also had a role or two on Serling’s “The Twilight Zone.”

He was on Get Smart once, too.

His niche seems to be self-parody on Simpsons and Futurama, though.

Weren’t both Nimoy and Shatner in an episode of *The Outer Limits?

He was also in the last season or so of Mission: Impossible where he played the character Paris.

He was already in a sci-fi niche before Star Trek, tho he did do a couple of westerns, too.

And don’t forget Zombies of the Stratosphere!

The video’s online, too. Google will find it.
