Alpha Industries made the MA-1 for the Air Force, before the Nomex CWU-45/P replaced it. I’m pretty sure they had a (the) contract for the L-2B, N-2B, and N-3B too.

Yup, absolutely! I was first a pall bearer for my paternal grandfather when I was but a pre-teen. It’s a southern thing, I think.
