Don't hurt yourself in the MMP!!!

It was 21 F when I left for work at 6:30 Ante Meridian. The door locks to the truck were frozen, and I poured hot water on the driver’s side to get in.

{{{ruble}}} It hurts to lose folks with whom we work.

Yay MamaCupcake!

It’s winter again in middle Tennessee. I took Nelson to the dog park this afternoon and we were the only ones there. Even the big dogs stayed home. :o We only stayed about 10 minutes, just long enough to get a little off leash time.

Supper was 1/4 of a Mama Cozzi’s take and bake pizza. Not too bad.

kopek, it’s not East Asian. Can’t help otherwise.

After eight days of holidays , I have one class tomorrow then it’s back to work on Monday.

Evening all. They took away one of our gyms for tomorrow (some type of math test going on in the cafeteria next door, and 20 rowdy children (and parents) making noise would discomfort our young math whizzes. So we had to reschedule and move a bunch of games.

Then did something I haven’t done in a long time; went to a play. Now admittedly, it was a grade school play production if “Anniejr”, but one of my youth soccer players gave me a ticket and since I hadn’t done anything sociable all week, I went. Was fun, and some of those 10-11 years olds can sing.

Still have soccer to coach tomorrow morning and afternoon and then for most of the afternoon on Sunday.

ruble, I thought it might be Arabic, but on a closer look I doubt it. Russian?

Baker, mom home, root canal, meatballs…sounds like a well-rounded day of insanity.

wet one, guess if you wanted some freeze-dried shirts…

All y’all have a good night now.

Worked, came home. Canes got a shutout, and broke a 9 year MSG curse,

Up, sheveled, probably not home until after Mooommm gets up. Gonna go shoot the Milky Way (which is totally Zagnuts but will bring me some Almond Joy.)

I’d try a different Chinese restaurant well before 9 years. Ya know, there’s a good one near Penn Station in NYC.

Darn eBay for making it tough to link to specific images. To me it almost hints at Nepal. If this link doesn’t work check the image in the montage with the description where you can see the eyes well.

I’m not much for foreign-made but ----------- it has a certain something.

No; not even one of the ancient archaic forms of Cyrillic. Another odd thought ----- Mongolian or maybe Bhutan?

It’s 32° & windy out, I’m early, they’re late, & all the @#$&% nearby Wawa’s are closed.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN I was a slug a bed and didn’t get up until almost seven-thirty! 'Tis 42 Amurrkin out and N.O.S. with a predicted high of 62 and TWPTB say it will be mostly cloudy this afternoon. We shall see. No biggie plans for the day which is fine by me. We might or might not go grab some N.O.L. Would suit me fine not to leave da cave today. I made up some burgers yestiddy, so burgers 'n fries shall be sup.

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day! Rah.

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Up at 7, soccer starts about 9:15am today. Then get a break until 2:30.

30F outside but supposed to get to 51F this afternoon. We’ll see.

The meatballs are simple. Take 1.5 pounds of lean hamburger and mash it up with one egg. Shape it into small balls(mine were not quite one ounce each. Brown them in the skillet(I used cast iron but any will do). In the slow cooker mix one 12 oz. bottle of chili sauce and 12 oz of grape jelly. Add the meatballs. I set it at a medium temperature, then, when they seemed done, turned it down to low, as the original recipe said they are better the longer they sit. A little fat cooks out and you can stir them around as they cook. I have some left over and will fit them into my diet somehow.

Happy Saturday!

Slept in until 7:30. My brain feels better but my back hurts.

It’s cold and windy outside.

I’m hot though, and not in a good way.
Fucking drunks next door threw a beer can on my back porch.

We will be heading out for the armpit soon.
I’d like to leave around 10ish.
I want to stop at a friends house, on the way down I think, while it’ll be warmer. I have a bag of scarves to give her. I have a bag of clothes for another friend, but she lives too far out and I think we won’t have enough time.

10ish isn’t going to happen.
We may not go at all today. I may have to take Ripple to the vet.
One of his eyes is gunky and he won’t open it.

We can go tomorrow.

Snowmageddon didn’t happen up here. Seattle got some, but we only had a little 115 miles north. But it’s 28ºF, and the wind is blowing 20+ knots.

Poor Ripple! I hope his eye is better soon.

Up, caffeinating, breakfasting, towels and sheets in the wash and the puppy crate cleaned. It was a brisk 27F when I took Nelson out this morning. Cold, but fortunately, nothing falling from the sky.

Back from breakfasting and erranding. I’ll be playing engineer most of the day - gonna redesign the heat sink for a UAV that **FCD **has been working on. It’s nice to use my engineer brain once in a while.

Chilly outside, so I don’t expect to go out any more, tho who knows…

Happy Saturday!

We got about 2" of some strange white stuff in our yard overnight and it’s still dusting down, but not with any enthusiasm. We plan to bundle up in a bit and walk over to Critter Cabana (about 6 blocks) to buy dog food. We forgot when we were out and about yesterday. Other than that, nothing planned except getting the snow shovel out of the shed in case we need it.

Weather guessers swear this is gonna continue for the foreseeable future. le sigh

Wifey is making a puffed apple pancake and says we’re down to a dozen eggs.

And Vinnie wants to go outside again. Did you know that Schnauzer is the German word for “Pain in the ass”?

Hoppy Sattiday y’all.

I guess Ripple’s eye is okay.
I called the vet and couldn’t get an appointment and they told me to take him to the emergency clinic.
Kind of annoying.
So I got ready and woke my son up to take care of the cat’s meds and he looked at Ripple’s eye and said there was nothing wrong with it.
His eye is open and everything looks fine.
I think it may have been the cold air?
So, I’ll take him to the vet Moonday to get him checked out just in case.

On the good side, I called BFF#1 and told her I was coming tomorrow instead and I have her scarves for her, and that I wish I had time to go up to BBF#2 to give her the clothes and she suggested I invite BFF#2 to come to her house too, so one stop. AND… she is going to take a bunch of other stuff off my hands that I want to donate, she has stuff to take so she’ll take all of it. Also, I went through my books, she’ll take them to some place she goes where you ‘take a book - leave a book’. I’m going to be able to get rid of a bunch of stuff in one trip.
I feel bad dumping stuff on her but she does this all the time.

Howdy Y’all! Been a very lazy day here at da cave. Neither one of us wanted or needed to go anywhere so we didn’t. Except, we ordered the General’s sup from the Chinese place down the road and OYKW went to pick it up, so he actually did go somewhere. We’ll do burgers and N.O.T. sallit for tomorrow’s sup. Was gonna be burgers 'n fries but since I was at da cave all day, I decided to make N.O.T. sallit. Also, nappage ensued.

Sari glad Ripple’s eye is OK. Look at it this way, your friend apparently likes to do that stuff so you are providin’ her with an opportunity. See, that makes you a great friend too!

Only three posts since 10am? Where is everyone? I was sleeping since I didn’t last night. Boofital ocean sunrise after the Milky Way, though.
