When I first woke up after getting mine out (they insisted), I thought I was perfectly fine, and stood up. Everyone laughed at me, and it made me mad. I also tried to talk, and they seemed to get mad at me. Hey–I’d just woken up and no one told me before that I was going to have gauze in my mouth and have to keep it shut.
I just wish the regular dentist was as good about numbing the pain. It seems they don’t get that not everyone’s nerves are in the same place.
