"Doot, Doot, Doot, Lookin' Out My Back Door..."

Snow, pine trees and mountains out the back. Out our front door is our ‘drive’ and more snow, trees and mountains. Two 14,000 peaks are about 2 miles away as the crow flies. Mt Bross and Mt Lincoln. We live at 11,200.

Like plnnr, no neighboors, we are the only people that live on our road. There are two other cabins, but they are not full time. The only time I ever see those folks is when they get stuck in the snow or they need a jump start.

Although my water heater went out this morning, and it’s going to be quite the chore to drain it and hopefully find new elements for it. Took the day off.

I live in a townhouse complex. Not much to see out the front door, just the unit across the street that looks identical to mine. Out the back the view is a little nicer. A common yard runs along the back of the units. Beyond this is a chain link fence and the back yards of several older homes on the next street over. There are lots of tall, mature trees.
