Definition: To read, and optionally contribute to, the Straight Dope Message Board.
As in:
My wife: “Hey, are you online?”
Me: “Yeah, I’m doping.”
My wife: “Okay, let me know when you’re done, I want to dope too.”
At least, this is how we refer to it in my household.
Does your household have a verb or other shorthand expression for this activity, and if so, what is it? (And do you worry about outsiders overhearing and thinking you’re monkeying with your blood a la that Russian ski team?)
We call it “being on the Dope.” This does cause some raised eyebrows on occasion. 
I tend to use “on this message board I go on” for all the message boards I use.
I’ve used ‘to dope’ on occasion . Conjugated of course.
It’s surfing, reading the board, or surfing the board to me.
Not really much chance for a Three’s Compnany situation there as I’m an hour from the coast, overweight, and in a wheelchair for the time being.
‘Surfing the Web’ or ‘talking to my friends’.
“Reading message boards” or occasionally something specific like “there’s this thread at the SDMB…”
