As noted, the science of the time lent itself to misinterpretation. They used to think of “race” in a completely different way. When was The Double Helix published? 1948? Later?

Shit, I’ll cut misguided flyboys some slack, but Lindbergh was worried about all those “yellows” attacking the greatness of “white” civilization, and admired good old Adolf for it. Not exactly his proudest moment. Someone naming themselves after him and talking about races is giving themselves away, though. Robert Heinlein was a great sci-fi writer, but he bought into the Yellow Peril himself, just give Sixth Column read.
Yeah but you have to realise that what turned people against Hitler wasn’t his racism. Pretty much everyone was a racist at the time, hell it was a scientific fact that the white race was superiour all others. What upset people was (except that he attacked other countries) that he industrialised the proccess of killing off “inferior races” and that he did it in Europe. The polite way to do it was to go to another continent and shoot them (or poison or beat or whatever), not do it here and with a modern industrial approach.
Sure, there were some people who weren’t racists back then, but those were the odd ones out.
Unfortunately sad but true. On the other hand, the historical Lindbergh was known for three things: flying cross-Atlantic, having his child abducted, and publicly promoting what would today be known as White Power. The poster admires him for the third trait.
Not much worthwhile to add, but this guy’s a total numbskull. He’s a very transparent one, however, so it’s rather amusing because the holes in his logic are unhidden and large enough to pilot a boat full of conquering immigrants through.

Exactly…no Mexican political figure is going to boast “Under my administration, five million Mexicans decided they’d be better off as mojados in the United States than living here!”. So they put a positive spin on it and hint to their constituents that they have some other goals.
Living on the border, I see first hand that most Mexican-Americans have a very comtemptful attitude toward Mexican politicians and the Mexican government. I think the whole idea of coming here is to avoid living under Mexican jurisdiction. And Mexican-Americans who go to Mexico find themselves immediately labelled as “gringos” the same as anyone else (perhaps a bit worse since Mexico has prejudices of its own toward to poorer class - presumably where Mexican-Americans come from).
There is a fellow named Steve Sailer, and while he skirts upon “white nationalism” and racism at times (mainly in where his essays are posted), he makes a very interesting argument that the “white” Mexican political elite is actually very racist, and is more or less in collusion with both the Republican and Democratic parties to promote mass Mexican immigration. The Mexican elite rids itself of troublesome brown-skinned agitators (staving off a true “civil rights” movement), and the US gains either (for lefties) a large ‘minority’ bloc or (for righties) millions of non-unionized, Catholic workers.
While there are holes in his argument, that makes a lot more sense than some Mexican “reconquest” which will pit Ford pickups with stenciled surnames in Old English letters against the US Army Third Cavalry division.
Then we’ll hear about all the illegal Eskimos coming to Alaska to take White jobs.

No, it’s not just you. It’s standard at this time and other times of year. School holidays. The youngsters get off on this sort of thing. That said, I don’t think this one is a youngster, just deluded.
Actually, I’ve for a long time thought something similar.
We, in the United States, have an ENORMOUS surfeit of college-educated kids who need to start careers and climb that success ladder, right?
Well, why do it here? Why not take the most educated and motivated and have them move to Guatemala, El Salvador, and wherever and apply their education and drive to succeed there?
Think about it. Where’s the competition going to be fiercer? Here with countless college graduates being churned out each year or in the third world where college degrees are still rare?
So let’s reverse this trend and start establishing and America emigre elite in the developing world!

One poster seemed to think that Lindbergh may have recanted his pre-war views on race after WWII. Actually he didn’t. He never recanted any of his statements on the value of preserving the White race, on the peril of a non-White invasion of White homelands, or on the wrongness of having non-Whites in control of the White means of communication. He recognized that control of the means of communicaition can be used to engage in racially-destructive propaganda and politically-correct censorship.

Lindbergh. In November, 1939, when Charles A. Lindbergh wrote the words below, he was writing in the world’s largest-circulation magazine, Reader’s Digest. The gentile owners and founders of Reader’s Digest, Lila Acheson Wallace and DeWitt Wallace were strong supporters of the America First Committee philosophy that Charles Lindbergh and millions of American shared.
The point that I am making is that the thoughts below were commonplace and generally agreed with by the mass of White Americans in a 90% White America. These were not “extremist” thoughts. These were the mainstream thoughts. A lot of the arguments made against those of us who wish to stop the non-White invasion into White homelands are really only statements that “you’re a tiny minority of haters” and, “we multi-racilialists so completely outnumber you White nativists that you’ll never get anywhere with your xenophoba.”
