Man…we thought we’d invented that! I was at a party YEARS ago, and a couple of friends of mine were throwing insults at one another, and one of them came up with “turdburglar!”. He claimed he had just thought of it, although he was very VERY stoned at the time. Either he invented it independently, or he had heard it somewhere else and used it without realising it.

notice the difference in the link in this post vs. what is up in your browser’s address bar. The linking seems to work better if you remove the long alphanumeric string between “showthread.php?s=” and “&threadid=”

This phrase can be attributed to George Carlin about 20 years ago. The original wording was “Why do people say they are ‘taking a crap’? If anything they should be leaving a crap. I think this may be how the phrase ‘getting your shit together’ got started.”
Maybe not exact wording but you get the idea.
