KIDDING! I’m just kidding, man, tee hee!
Me! Me! This was lots of fun in previous years.
I bought my Valentines today! Can’t wait to send them out!
Who else wants to play?
I’ve got mine made up! They’re just waiting for the addressing.
mine are in non-traditional colors.
Sign me up! I enjoyed this last year and want to play again. I’m a man, so that should help the gender disparity.
Thanks for doing this, Twickster and Scuba Ben.

I’d have to be a lot crazier than I am to pass this up, especially since three of the gentlemen I’m fondest of on this board have already signed up. Gentlemen and ladies of the SDMB, some of you may expect to be be-Sieged for Valentine’s Day.

Hi Scuby Ben - I sent you an email. Does that make me only the third non-American? C’mon, you Canadians - get on the list!
E-mail sent - list me, Dude!
Since the last update, two Canadians have signed up, bringing our total to 43 people, including 4 non-Americans. The ladies are currently offering 3-1 odds, and Canada leads the UK (also 3-1).
Registration is still open this week. My current plan is to make 3 lists – West Coast, Central, and East Coast – and make sure everybody gets enough people from the other two lists to fill out their list of 20 or so Dopers. (Why 20? Because that’s how many stamps are in a pack of stamps.) I’ll divide the non-Americans among the lists, so that all the American Dopers send a valentine to at least one foreigner.
(My previous idea was more complex, involving volleyball rotations and an 85-yard touchdown pass. This is the simplified version that still encourages people to meet other people sort of near them.)

I just sent mine in - I can’t decide whether it’s fun or pathetic, so what the hell?
I’m an American female, however, so I’m afraid I’m not very good for the averages.
Remember, liberal use of confetti is always fun. Previous participants could picture me swearing when it inevitably went everywhere in my house.
Fun, definitely fun. It’s especially fun to imagine the mailman’s confusion – “Why is this woman who gets nothing but bills, magazines, and catalogues suddenly getting hand-addressed mail from all over the country?”
Just sent mine in. Whee!
Will the lists be sent out soon? I’d like to start the cutting and gluing and pasting and mailing as soon as possible… Much confetti has been purchased.
The lists will be coming out Sunday. I’m holding it open for the inevitable last-minute sign-ups. (I just posted a shameless plug in the photo thread to welcome a new Doper to the boards.)
I’ll be going with store-bought cards, as my artistic talents are limited to “Oooh, that looks nice! I’ll buy it.” The confetti is a good idea, though, so I just may copy that idea.
Email sent!
Wow! Mail that I actually want to receive!
Whoops. Almost didn’t see this thread. Email sent. I think. . .
Just empty out the ol’ 3-hole punch and you’ll be set!
My three year old daughter is helping me make mine. She is looking foward to getting some in the mail. Its been a lot of fun doing these.
Darn it! It’s not fair! I want slave labor, too!
