Not only that, but here’s the really neat part: While Canada and Mexico are 60 cents, every other country (IIRC) is 80 cents. That is, it costs the same to mail a letter to Burundi as it does to Germany or to Estonia. That rocks.

Okay. In a few minutes, I’m headin’ to the store to pick up the cards, then to USPS to pick up the stamps. Then back home, where this rainy weekend I will try to come up with some witty things to say to my recipients.
As luck would have it, I am personally aquainted with a few on my short list! 
It’ll be more fun than trying to figure out which navy blue sock matches which other 15 shades of navy blue I have in my drawer!

The scary thing is, I had to wait till payday to afford the postage on these things. (Canada to USA, CAD 0.80; Canada to overseas: CAD 1.40) Fifty cards… good thing I’m drawin’ them. (Well, drawing and photocopying… ) 
Oh, and Hazeus, Krisfer, dantheman? I understand that, after the Revisions of 2004-01-01, the Entrance Ritual can vary. It’s good to remain flexible. Yoga might help.

What’s a good way for a guy to send a valentine to another guy just to wish him well? I wasn’t anticipating that. 
A humorous general valentine card would work, yellowtail. The ones I made are real “girly,” so I appologize ahead of time to the guys…just think of it as you would if you received a pair of lace panties in the mail!

Well, let’s try this again. F*ing board’s been going down on me all day, including when I tried to submit this post fifteen minutes ago.
I was going to spend this weekend making individual cards, but it looks like I’ll be stopping off on the way home from work tomorrow and buying some. At least they’ll be hand-signed and addressed, as I doubt the cats will be any help. And of course I forgot to get stamps for the Canadian & overseas ones today.
