Doper Webcomics?

So… after 4 years of plain 'ol painting, I found that I needed to make a pet web-comic project to unload the residual silliness.

Which got me thinking: do any other Dopers keep one up, and what has your experience with hosting/gaining followers/profitability been?

I know Jonathan Chance co-creates Low Forecast, which is basically an urban fantasy/“magic ghetto” webcomic, and pretty good. It’s been on my daily reading list for several years now.

Hal Briston started one recently, mentioned here.

Will check’em out currently!

I can’t draw, so I made a comic on stripcreator which is template-based and uses canned graphics.

Pretty much all of mine are based on ridiculous puns, and I hardly ever update it. These days I devote most of my creative energies to my equally-ridiculous blog.

You’re embarrassing me, here. But I do like writing it.

I created Scandal Sheet!, which is currently on long-term hiatus – but I still have every intention of re-starting it one of these days!
