Doper Weekend in Paris, anyone?

I don’t know…the last time I went to Paris I got pregnant.

That would be a helluva dopefest though. I’ll have to see if I can talk my husband into it.

I’d also prefer some European city other than Paris (can’t stand the place), but depending on which weekend I’d try to make it.

What manhattan didn’t mention is that the $278 fare is from New York to Paris, Tennessee, about three hundred miles southeast of scenic Jefferson City, Missouri.

The Home Plaza Bastille is owned by the Radisson motel chain, and is attractively located alongside the Pizza Hut just north of the jumpin’ part of town on U.S. Route 641.

Dave, you’re in luck, the catacombs just re-opened in July after extensive renovations they were doing. Exactly how the hell they renovate 7 million skeletons, however, is beyond my comprehension.

–peepthis, who was living in Paris this spring & can’t wait to get back

Although I’ve been to Paris quite a number of times, I am interested. It will depend on a few things, but I am at least interested.

There’s a Jean Dubuffet retrospective at the Pompidou Center, I’d make the trip just for that. I wonder if I could scrape together a few hundred…

Woohoo!

I’m going to be in France the last couple of weeks in January, and would love to meet up with you guys there.

My recent trip to France (in which I did not go to Paris) left me musing that it’s been three years since I was last in that city. That’s a long time for someone who went every year for seven years and has an uncle living there.

So all in all I think I might be up for this one.

Well, manhattan, if you mean you will fly me to Paris; ply me with oysters, fine wine, and stinky cheese; rub my feet after a long day of strolling arm-in-arm with me down boulevards and rowing picturesquely down the Seine; commiserate with me when the locals tell me I speak French comme une vache espagnole; browse the used bookstores on the Left Bank; help me pick out wicked frothy lingerie…well, I think there is room for discussion here.

Well, if it can be on the MLK day weekend, it’s possible- that way I only have to cover Friday for school and work.

I just got my tickets today - I’ll be in France from January 18th to February 3rd. MLK Day is the 21st.

Just providin’ my own little time-frame…

I’ll be passing through Paris in mid-February en route to Africa, but sounds like that might be too late.

Oh, I could do that and… oh, wait… I’m a week shy of 16 with psycho overprotective untrsuting parents… :frowning:

Hmmmm it’s been a long time since I was in Paris.

Yep put me down as a very positive maybe.

Sounds good to me! If this all goes ahead, I reckon I’ll be there.

well, I think my girlfriend could do with a little romancing in the city of romance.

Failing that, Paris will do just fine. I’m starting to save immediately.

And after the last three in the door, there goes any hope of a cultural, drink free weekend. Thank God.

We can walk around the treasury of Conques at the Louvre pissed and look for a fight

There is a Literary Pub Crawl in Paris that has connections with the Dublin one. The one in Dublin is very good. Culture and drink. Are the Irish a class act or what?

Right ::rubs hands:: when?
