I wear Frederick’s of Hollywood 100% cotton thongs.
$4 per pair, comfortable, lots of colors and they dip low in the front (unlike Victoria’s Secret panties).
PLUS!!! for $4, I don’t feel bad tossing them if I have an…um, menstrual moment.
Big fan of VS satin bikini’s here with a matching bra. Usually when I find a bra that I like I buy a bunch of different colors with matching undies. I own a few thongs and cotton bikinis and occasionally go without the underthings.
I own a ton of underwear so I dont have to do laundry so often, now if only I had more socks. . .

I’m a thong girl, 100%. I’ve never understood or experienced the complaints against them. Most of mine are from Vicky’s (the signature line in cotton), but with some variety and :shame: some cheap ones thrown in, too.
I’ve been experimenting with the commando lifestyle for the past two days (read as: moi needs to do laundry) and have no complaints with this, either. Also, I think it turns on my honey.

I’ve never tried thongs because I just couldn’t imagine having a cord of material going up my butt crack. I mean, doesn’t that bug you? They don’t call 'em butt floss for nothing, do they? Or do they?
I used to buy Maidenform matching sets all the time until I gained some weight (all in the butt, of course :rolleyes: ) and then they’d ride up and drive me nutz. So now it’s just cotton stuff that tends to stay put, like Hanes and Calvin Klein.
White pants are required in my world, so I wear Bali SkimpSkamps full briefs in beige. No panty lines, never ride up or down and if I choose to tuck in my scrub top, you can’t tell me what kind of panties I have on. I also like their cotton/Lycra bikinis or the satin ones for non-hospital times. I have a few thonfs, but those are for recreational purposes only, so comfort isn’t an issue, since they don’t stay on long…

Ladies, I think I would be a good judge of what looks best on you. I suggest you all change in to your panties or go commando and parade around in front of me and I’ll give you my expert opinion.
Hanes Her Way Hi-cuts and today they are, um…blue. I can’t wear a thong because to me it feels like a world-class wedgie, so if I am worried about panty-line, I go commando (or wear just pantyhose.)
I own all types of underwear, everything from Wal-Mart to VS to Fredrick’s. I guess my fave would be the Fredrick’s line. I prefer thongs, the cotton ones. I do have many of the satiny ones, but for some reason they have a tendency to cut, and in that area, cuts are reaaaallly painful. But only the satin ones do that to me. So, I wear those for “special” occasions, knowing full well they won’t be on very long.
I like black thongs the best. In general, I just prefer black undergarments. I probably have more of that color than any of the others. I have a penchant for red, too, but only own a couple of red thongs or panties.
I also have several “regular” types of panties, but usually just wear them when everything else is being washed.
Oh, and I agree with BunnyGirl about the lacy panties. They are awful. I have some, but they’re really just for “looks”…
Victoria’s Secret cotton bikini-style panties. They’re mostly solid colors, but a I have a few striped pairs and a few with a leopard-spot pattern.
I got matching bras to go with a few of them.
Depends on the mood du jour. Mostly just the plain old Hanes bikini - cotton. During the summer it may be thongs, unless I’m feeling fat, then it’s those cute little satin tap pants with the matching bras. If I’m running late in the morning I just go commando until all the kids are off to school and the hubby is gone. Of course, going commando makes Mr. L want to hang around
Cotton bikinis. I don’t like thongs, but I do feel sexy in a little teeny tiny bikini - the littler the better. I also like when they have interesting patterns or stripes or colors – white is boring.
If I’m wearing anything that makes me worry about panty lines, I just go without.
At the moment, I’m wearing a little bikini in blue and green plaid.
I must say, I’m impressed with the number of Victoria’s Secret panty wearers here, because I haven’t had good luck with them. I once decided to splurge on some really pretty shiny satin panties from VS, and they were just not right. They were really poofy in the butt – and I do not have a flat butt. I don’t know what they were expecting me to pack around in all that extra storage space back there.
