Dopers who could be siblings based on their screen names.

Me and Mac Tech.

Don’t hit me for revivifying the thread, I didn’t notice it before…

I only just saw this. Very clever. :stuck_out_tongue:

As a latecomer I claim CynicalGabe!

That is, if a newbie with less than 250 posts under her belt can claim a '99er (CynicalGabe, are you a '99er)? with nearly 5,000.

My word, CynicalGabe has posted more posts than I have done autopsies.

And don’t even get me started on Twickster.

I never saw this thread before, but I have to ask…

Huh? Me and Hentor the Barbarian I could see, but Iteki? That Japanese for hairy guy or something?

Well, there is (or at least was) a zeldarae who responded to one of my threads and asked me if we were kin in the sense that our user names may have come from similar sources. Hers (I think she’s a she) came from the fusion of two relatives’ names whereas mine came from a character I made up in a little story I wrote for a joke. Dan Aykroyd’s Conehead character had a similar name or else the Coneheads came from a planet with that name. I forget which. Wasn’t Remulac the planet? (It doesn’t even matter – I’m just trying to say that zeldarae and I may be related by way of different mothers in different states.)

I like to think of NorthernPiper as my board-brother.

I think you’re the only non-hairy Barbarian I’ve ever met.

Ah, I’ll take GO YOU BIG RED FIRE ENGINE, and RTFirefly can be the driver. I be the Supervisor. 10-4?

There’s a poster here named Fish, but I don’t see any other reference to a bicycle in a username.

And we’re all keeping an eye on you, fella!

I’ve been known to confuse Ukulele Ike and Eutychus, for no good reason, except they’re both very smart and know all about books.

The top of my head doesn’t count

Have I been claimed yet?

I feel so…objectified. It’s a recent trend, these days…

I can’t find anything fun on the search. Perhaps my mind just isn’t as open as it should/could be.
Am I all solitary and such ovah heah?

I think a search for my siblings, meaning the brotherhood of men, would bring the board to a grinding halt.

As Malacandra pointed out, I’m part of the C.S. Lewis family, with Reepicheep and Aslan; but given my current and previous screen names, I’ve always considered myself more of a member of the Cat family, which–considering it must include all cats, kittens, lions, tigers, leopards, etc.–must be far too numerous to list. Now if I can just keep the in-laws on good terms with each other…

Not A Tame Lion, the erstwhile malchats

I found some thirds and some warnings, but nobody who actually seems to post, so I guess I’m all alone, too. Maybe we can set up an orphan’s table somewhere? I’m willing to adopt some siblings.
I’m a lonely little Petunia
in an onion patch.
Won’t you come and play with me?

Aha! now I know what it is!

After an exhaustive geneological search, I have uncovered this distant relative:
** pretend my name is witty **

I found many folks with “unique” in their names, which could qualify them as your evil twin.

I adore your name and enjoy reading your posts. I most certainly couldn’t have you feeling alone in this world.

Aw…that’s right. I forgot all about my beloved sibling. Thanks for digging through the annals (snerk) of time. I’m sans goatee, so I’m definitely not the evil one, which increases **pretend my name is witty’**s Evil Quotient (EQ) by at least a baker’s dozen.

And stop inflating my ego!

…don’t listen to him!..thanks for the compliment

Shut up, you. Back in the box.

what?

I’m a little nervous… three days after I joined, a guest signed up with the name “Fetch” - which is what I am usually called when I’ve been on a board for a while…

Did I sign up twice and forget? Am I two of me??? The possibilities are endless… There’s a dudafetch, too - no worries that there is any relation there!

Brother! The closest? I’m hurt. Let’s not forget our very own Erislover as a member of our Cabal.
