I’ll add Collins to the list of likable characters, though. The rest of them range from irritating, like Joanne, to despicable, like Maureen. The one we’re supposed to get all choked up and upset about dying is the least likable of all. Angel killed a stranger’s dog in exchange for money. But it’s okay, because he spent it on a party for the “good guys”! What the hell?

Dude was done by the same guys as Hair. Hopeless mess of a show. Not even so bad as to be redeeming like Carrie or Dance of the Vampire.
Young Frankenstein came to Broadway a mess, but I understand some of the crap has been worked into a watchable show. I saw it in previews, so it may have mproved since then.
I forgot to mention how much I despised “Spring Awakening” which got the Best Musical Tony last season. When I went to get the tickets and the guy was saying “this is a show about honosexuality, incest, masturbation and sexual abuse,” I was wondering why I would want to see a show that sounded like my disfunctional family.
