SPOOFE, Scyla, spooje and Sauron all confused the hell out of me for the longest time, so I started paying more attention to their posting styles.

Sometimes I get mixed up when I see the 4 in his4ever and wonder why everyone’s so upset with me… :frowning:

There are others whose names are similar, but once I start reading I know who it is-- with the above 2 couplets it sometimes takes me a few posts to realize which is what.

Esprix and Fenris get confused in my head. Yet they are completely different.

I get SPOOFE and spooje mixed up too. People have confused me with Venoma before.

I got confused with all the Aceof names for a while, esp. after he changed, then there’s another poster who’s Ace of something else, but it looks like it will be easier now!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. We have a relatively new member who, whenever I see her name I always do a double-take…

Strangely enough, my nickname in college was “Danimal,” so I often confuse myself with you (and with those little yogurt cups that Dannon makes).

And to make it even more confusing, there’s also a poster called Ferris. Although he doesn’t post much. (I’m pretty sure he’s not the product of me and Fenris getting combined in one of those teleport thingies ala The Fly…)

I have a strange one: I don’t know why, but for some reason my mind seems to confuse CrankyAsAnOldMan with FairyChatMom. And vice-versa. The names are nothing alike, apart from the lack of spaces, and their posting styles are not notably similar, but there it is.

I used to get alice in wonderland and auntie em confused, too. Not sure why.
