Physical labor = Physical pain. I’m helping build a third bedroom addition on a house and geeesh how do contractors that do this every day survive. I need something to drink and an aspirin bartender.
But that’s why contractors do it. They contract the work out to the actual workers and just skim a portion for themselves. In this case it seems that you are more in the worker bee class as opposed to the contractor class. And those folks always get screwed. Hopefully you are getting paid by the hour. My typical fee for friends is a six pack per hour.
Random Q, ryjae: what location does “arrow not cross” signify? I’ve been puzzling over this since your “Miller” days, and still haven’t come up with an answer.
It’s a cold, rainy, miserable morning. The Town Tquare is flooded and the wind has blown the old oak tree’s branches through the Great Hall’s roof. The disheartened townies agree to move the day’s proceedings into the Tavern. It seems one of the villagers stayed all night, and is passed out at the bar.
Everyone gathers at the large table at the center of the room and passes around a pot of bitter muddy coffee. The drunk at the bar still has not moved despite the ruckus of chairs sliding across the floor and coffee mugs clanging against their saucers. Some one shouts to get their attention. No response. Someone else yells “Hey, wake up!” Nothing. A third villager stagers across the room and tries shaking the slouch into consciousness, but the limb body slips off the stool, and lands in a small puddle of blood.
It’s Zsofia, and she is clutching a small black hand bag. A broken knife blade is sticking out of her chest, and her shirt is soaked.
“Oh dear,” mumbles a gloomy voice from the crowd. “She was so full of life last night, making up drinking chants and putting down the pints. This can’t… Not now…”

I investigated Cckerberos last night, not because I suspected anything but because I was trying to confirm townies that are under the radar (ie likely to be alive for a while)
Didn’t turn out to be what I expected, he is scum.

You know what it may be best to let him live this lynch? I’ll be dead soon enough for sure now, and when that happens I’ll be confirmed town, and cckerberos will be confirmed scum. (And BlaM who I read as town will hopefully be town as well)

Well I guess I’ll be the first to say it we’re in some serious trouble.
Well to start off the Day 3 suspicion my top two from Day 2 are RyJae and Peekercpa. With RyJae as number 1 due to 2 concurrnt days of suspicious activity.
RyJae’s actions on Day 1 are well catalouged at this point. On Day 2 there are two things that stuck me; one of which was the timing of his role announcement and the second was his reason for voting for me. When he claimed detective he said it was because he was about to get lynched but Unkempt had a similar number of votes at that time and there was still three days untill the end of the day. As for his reason for voting for me all it was was that koldanar mentioned me on Day 1 he didn’t ever give any onther reason and in general stayed away from the discussion of the lynch.
My suspicion of Peekercpa also comes from his vote of me. He was the we one to vote for me after RyJae and despite my post stating my lack of Internet voted for me for lurking after I finnaly posted. Even after I posted a lot to try and prevent my lynch he never gave any other reason for voting for me even though I called him on it twice and pointed out that Dotchan was the real lurker for day 2.
Before I get accused of smearing Dot he did come in at the end of the day and explain his absence and I buy his excuse. But there were 4 days between Peekercpa’s vote for lurking and dot’s explanation.
Well, these are some pretty interesting developments. At least we didn’t lose the Doc Night One, like in Simpletown, but this still isn’t, ya know, convenient.
Basically, we’re gonna have to decide if we believe ryjae’s claim or not, I guess. My major concern on that is whether ryjae might be scum, using the tactic of throwing a fellow scum under the bus to gain Townie cred, or maybe trying to buy another Day by getting us to lynch another Townie. But I dunno, these are just what I see as our various possibilities at this point.
How about this lynch me today, at least we can then have a scum for sure. Since it looks like Oredigger wants it and bufftabby agrees.
I do like how bufftabby asked about me, without throwing a glance toward the person that turned up scum. No need for cred building at this moment in time, lynch me today.
When you find out I’m the detective, Cckerberos hangs. Then Oredigger, then I’m think bufftabby only because her last comments. It seems like the scum board came to a consensus that if I fingered one of them, make me fight the day away “proving” it. So lets get that outta the way.

JFC, it is a real stretch to turn that inot “lynch ryjae”. Do you disagree that we should examine the situation? I think it’s in our best interest to consider the possibilities, and I imagine the rest of the Town would agree. I do not like the way you pretended that I said something that I clearly did not.
I do find it interesting that after I reveal my finding, oredigger and yourself basically ignore it. You didn’t examine it in anyway, like
"hey cckerberos did post something interesting here or
hey cckerberos hasn’t posted anything I could find scummy at all"
You just said the same thing (not quite to the degree as Oredigger) ignore what I found last night, and examine me. So I’ll make it easy, let me die today hell I want to die. Because I know then at least one scum is confirmed and another is highly likely (OD77)
I don’t want to fight anymore in here, my choice for day 1 lynch has now cost us another townie, and in my gut losing yesterdays vote (on OD77) cost us another townie.
Yeah, ryjae, I’ll be happy to do a re-read when I don’t have a headset strapped to my noggin, but work prevents it right now. Would you like to address the fact that you completely misrepresented what I said to make me sound scummy? I didn’t vote for you; I pointed out some possibilities. I never said “lynch ryjae” or anything like it, which is how you represented my statements.
I already addressed them, and the matter is closed on my end. I’m not going to argue away a day. It seems odd and will continue to seem odd, that rather than say we need to examine cckerberos or even mention him you went straight to examining me.
That’s fine as I said examine me by lynching me, I’d rather lynch someone I’m 100% is scum or hell even Oredigger77 because just read that upthread my post then his two posts with “believing me” as a detective. Now granted you don’t believe me I’m fine with that but once you read it again when I’m dead you will see what I mean. He is scum, scum discussed what to do if I fingered one of them, he followed the directions well. Hell so well he fails to mention my post at all, pretty transparent.
