Definitely not a problem here, although I see from previous posts I may have to battle quite a few women to find the cue ball of my dreams. The last date I went on was with a guy thinning pretty drastically on top, and he was sex-ay as all heck.
Balding is not a deal-breaker - although I do say, if you have a nice skull, shaving IS the way to go. There are a few heads out there that NEED a pelt covering them however.
I may be biased as Dad’s side of the family has a bald(ing) head on every man - but I must say they are all quite good looking despite, or because of, that.
I’ve always felt that an attractive man is an attractive man whether he has hair or not. However, I don’t fall into the “shaved=sexy” category myself. I don’t hate shaved heads, but I don’t love them either.
<slight hijack> HOWEVER, now MY hair is starting to get thin, and I’m really worried about it. I’m “only” 50 (I know, pretty old to some of you folks). <end hijack>
Long hair, short hair, no hair: it doesn’t make much of a difference to me.
I will say that, in my opinion, long hair with a bald spot looks a bit odd. They just don’t go together. (Then again, I once dated a guy with long hair and a bald spot and found him very attractive. )
My boyfriend has a thinning spot on the back of his head, it doesn’t matter to me at all… and never would. Of course, he’s almost 6’7", so I rarely see it
Hair loss in any amount does not affect my opinion of a man. Combovers are embarrassing, yet I know some very sensible men who do it. They’re not fooling anyone, and occasionally the wind or a body movement leaves the combover sticking straight up or hanging off the wrong side.
I definitely prefer bald men–don’t know why, but I always have. I didn’t even realize it until a friend of mine pointed out that all the guys I thought were really hot happened to be bald. So, Sunspace, in my case it’s a decided preference.
