DOT-COM "Death List"

A few weeks ago I heard a news report on the impending bankruptcy/failure of several large internet-based companies. The commentator referred to a “death list”. Does anybody have such a list (of dot-coms that are likely to go undern the next 6 months)?
I’d like to know!

The concept is called a “Dead Pool” where you bet on the next person/company to die. The site mentioned below is quite amusing and usually pretty accurate.

There is at least one celebrity dead pool on line.

I heard just this morning that pets.com is going down. Thats the one with those stupid sock puppet dog commercials.

For insights, try reading Country Living magazine. I write the Dot-Com Country column and have had the unnerving experience of inadvertantly predicting Dot-Com death twice now. The two sites we featured went down:

Hardware.com / June issue / d. August

Furniture.com / September issue / d. November
If the trend continues, we can expect the following jinxed sites to fail two months after they were featured:

Carsdirect.com / October issue / (should die next month)

Herhifi.com / November issue / (should die in Jan.)
Anybody else you want to see go down? I have to write another column for the March issue.
