I’m not sure. Do you think it’s rigged?
Yes, it was rigged. The guy who let him win lost on purpose and even the coach approved. It was that kid’s first time on the mat as well.
It was done as a feel-good thing and to reward him for all the hard work he did with the team. Kind of like a dream come true for him.
It has happened in other schools as well. Such as this one:
People with Down syndrome have low muscle tone at birth, but like almost everyone, they can increase muscle strength through weight training and other forms of exercise. In fact, physical activity is strongly recommended for children with Down Syndrome, and schools are required by law provide physical education classes (with modifications as needed) to students in Special Education.
I don’t know why you seem so determined to pursue this idea that people with Down Syndrome have some sort of innate “incredible strength.” Is it because you’d rather believe that than think an eight-year-old could twist your wrist?
Most people, especially children, have good grip strength, even if they have low muscle tone. A baby can hold up its own weight just by gripping your thumbs.
This seems more like an argument than a question. I’m going to shut this thread until the GQ mods have a chance to review it.
I think we can leave it closed since at this point the OP is just repeating the same questions over and over again without acknowledging any responses.
