Ever since November 8, I’ve been looking for a downloadable spreadsheet listing for each state the number of electors it gets and how the EC votes were awarded on election night, but I’ve been coming up blank. Does anyone know where such a spreadsheet can be downloaded?
Alternatively, an ordinary table in a Word document would work.
If you want the election-night numbers, you’ll have to move the 7 EVs cast by the Electors for persons other than Trump and Clinton back into the appropriate column, but they’re in just 3 states (HI, TX, WA), so it won’t take but a minute.
I just found this last night, but your effort is certainly appreciated.
Although I didn’t mention popular votes in the OP, I also found this item on Daily Kos for those who want to find out more about that. If you don’t want to wade through the preliminary text, the included link to the actual Google Docs spreadsheet is here. As far as I can see this spreadsheet shows the state by state popular vote results in percentage form only, unfortunately.
