Yeah, I vaguely recall Goku & Piccolo being opposed to each other for a bit, but not for long.
I was just checking Netflix and now I’m really confused. There are all kinds of Dragon Ball discs. I think I’ve only seen Z, and don’t know now what season I left off on.
Hell yes, probably in the theater, specifically because it’ll probably be cheesy horrible goodness.
[uber nerd]Demon King Piccolo was most certainly an evil guy when he was first introduced. See, notice the Evil Teeth. Later he was reincarnated as Piccolo Junior, who was still evil for a while in thought if not in deed, before being won over by Goku, and Gohan.[/nerd power, activate!]
Ah, poor Goku got his ass kicked. I guess I never saw King Piccolo, and was only familiar with Piccolo Jr.
Minor hijack, which I’m not spoilerizing because it’s totally nonsensical:
Alright, this green alien/spirit/whatever dud comes to earth. And because he’s goign to make the Dragonballs, he feels the need to split his “Evil Side” off. Or something. So he does, and the evil side calls itself King Piccolo. He eventually dies, but gets “instant reincarnation” and comes back as young-er Piccolo. Then younger Piccolo, more or less being good, joins back up with his older “Good Half.”
